Welcome to MS History! My name is Mrs. Figueroa and I will be your teacher. I have so many exciting things to share with you this year. I can’t wait to meet you. Here is to a blessed 2021-2022 school year! You are going to do great things!

Background

I have been part of the CCS family for over three years! I have a background in Finance, Spanish, and Ministry (Worship and Missions). For over two years, I’ve had the blessing of educating HS/MS students in Spanish. My passion is history, geography, language, and culture.

As an educator, you sign up for a lifelong commitment to learning. I am so passionate about what I do and I cannot wait to share my love for education with my students!  In 2018, I embarked on another adventure and decided to further my studies in the field of middle education social sciences. To date, I have completed over 40 hours in social sciences (history, math, and science).

I have been married to my best friend, Joy Figueroa, for over three years. We will be welcoming our first child come January 2022. How exciting!
