Host Community Christian raised its season record to 10-2 with a 25-15, 25-12 defeat of visiting Faith Christian of Goldsboro on Wednesday at the Peace Church gym.

Payton Bush served 10 points with five aces for CCS while Claire Carter and Ellie Gay each served nine points. Gay had five aces and four kills while Carter supplied three kills and two aces. Libby Bass also had three kills while Autumn Bradshaw handed out 12 assists.

CCS will host Christ Covenant on Thursday.
