After three victories to start the season, the Community Christian volleyball team was handed its first defeat Tuesday in three sets against visiting Greenville Christian, 25-22, 20-25, 15-5.

Miranda Lamm led the Cyclones at the service line with 11 games while Madison Campistrous recorded four kills and an ace. Kaylee Mooring and Julianne Batten each served three aces.

The Cyclones will host ALA Johnston County Jaguars on Monday, Aug. 28.
