The Community Christian boys basketball team closed out the 2022 calendar year with its eighth straight victory without a loss in Tuesday’s 55-27 romp over Pungo Christian at ENCSD’s Barney Williamson Gym.

Jamir Loftin dropped in 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Cyclones while Jack Beamon had 15 points and 13 rebounds. Evan Gattis supplied 13 points to go with three rebounds and two assists. Anderson Joyner added seven points, five rebounds and two steals.

CCS is off until Jan. 13 when it hosts Gramercy Christian at ENCSD.
