The Community Christian School varsity boys basketball team fell for the second game in a row Tuesday, dropping a 62-52 contest to visiting Pungo Christian at Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf. 

Tavares Williams led the Cyclones, who dropped to 7-3 on the season, with 18 points and eight rebounds. Noah Pierce added 12 points, and Rylan Gay and Ayden Smith each chipped in six against the Raiders (9-2). 

The Cyclones will now take off for the holidays, and return to action with a visit to Southside Christian on Friday, Jan. 6.
