The Community Christian junior varsity boys basketball team got help from many hands in a 58-21 home thrashing of Faith Christian of Goldsboro on Tuesday at the Peace Church gym.

Evan Gattis led the Cyclones with 23 points to go with three rebounds and three steals while Jamir Loftin’s stat line included 14 points, four assists and two steals.

Jack Beamon supplied eight points and eight rebounds while Ethan Arizpe totaled five rebounds, four steals and two points. Anderson Joyner doled out six assists.

The Cyclones will visit Ridgecroft on Friday in Ahoskie.
