Welcome to 4th Grade at CCS! I am delighted to be one of your child’s teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Carolyn Huston, and this is my 15th year at Community Christian School. I graduated from Barton College where I studied Elementary Education, with a concentration in Science and History. Prior to working at CCS, I stayed home with my children. I have three sons all of which have graduated from CCS. They range in age from 18 years old to 27 years old. My oldest son, Caleb, graduated from CCS High School and graduated with a Civil Engineering Degree from NC State University. My middle son, Andrew, is a junior at Liberty College and my youngest son, Seth, is a freshman at Barton College.
I love CCS and it is my hope that your child will have a challenging, yet rewarding, classroom experience this year.
