CCS is committed to do all we can to ensure that our students and staff are given the safest possible face to face learning and working environment as possible during this pandemic. We have put the following measures in place within our classes and our school building with the desire to keep our students on campus and learning;
Electrostatic Clorox 360 disinfecting system, hand sanitizing stations in all classrooms and additional stations in the hallways, air purifiers placed in the middle school and within HVAC units on main campus units, temperature and wellness check stations at all entrances to the three school buildings, created a designated isolation space for at risk students, and increased daily building cleaning regimen.
We have also establish routines within our day to keep our students engaged and learning safely; separate chapel services and lunch periods, isolated the schools into learning pods, eliminated the use of mass use equipment and communal water fountains, socially distanced the students within the classrooms as much as possible, eliminated MS transitions between subjects, and established consistent instructional technology platforms for students who are separated from the classroom.
We are continually evaluating how we are doing and appreciate feedback from our families and staff so that we can truly ensure that we are "Being the Light" for our community during this time.
