Hello Everyone! I'm Mrs. Strickland, and I will be your child's teacher this year! This is my 4th year here at CCS, and I am looking forward to our year together! Here's a little bit about me!

 

I graduated from UNC Wilmington, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6 in 2010.  I was a stay-at-home mom for years before finally making my way back to the classroom.  This is my 6th year teaching; 4th year here at CCS.  I am married to Jacob, who is a K-9 officer with Rocky Mount Police Department.  I have a daughter, who is in 7th grade, and 2 sons, who are both in 3rd Grade this year! I have 2 dogs named, Bucky and Blue, and 2 ducks named Donald and Olivia! My favorite activities include going to the beach, hiking in the mountains, watching funny movies, and spending time studying the Bible and growing in my relationship with Jesus!
