CCS drills OLPH 8-1

Asher Murphy had a hat trick to lead his Community Christian boys soccer team to an 8-1 victory against Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Rocky Mount in a home game for the Cyclones on Monday afternoon.

Besides Murphy’s three goals, Ayden Cox, Tuck Webb, Ashton Bradshaw, Eli Nichols and Elijah Johnson each scored a goal. Bradshaw passed out three assists while Nichols had two assists and Sammy Dean with one.

The Cyclones, now 3-2, will host ALA Johnston County on Monday, Sept. 25.
