GOLDSBORO — Community Christian’s chance at its first back-to-back wins of the girls basketball season was squelched by host Faith Christian in a 56-30 setback for the Cyclones on Tuesday.

Senior Abigail Jackson had 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks for the Cyclones, who fell to 2-15 overall and 0-4 in Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association 2-A South Region games. Aiyana Holmes yanked down 16 rebounds, 11 off the offensive glass, to go with nine points for CCS.
