Hello, I am excited to be a part of the CCS family as the High School Yearbook adviser and Elementary School Counselor. I have been at CCS since the Fall of 2017. I am originally from Radford, VA but have lived in Wilson for over 16 years now. I am married to my best friend, Joe Strange and we have 2 beautiful daughters, Kara and Kelsie. Our oldest daughter, Kara, graduated from CCS in 2019 and our youngest daughter, Kelsie, graduated from CCS in 2021. Joe and I were in youth ministry for over 22 years and have a passion and love for students. In my spare time I enjoy photography, crafting, and spending time with my family. 

 

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology from the University of Alabama. I have attended trainings and taken courses in Biblical counseling and am currently working towards my certification in the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. I was a Teacher's Assistant for Pre-K in the public school system for 1 year, a tutor for Grades 5-6th in our Classical Conversations Home School group for 2 years, and I home schooled our girls for 3 years. I'm excited about the opportunity to create a yearbook with our CCS students that captures memories and reflects the CCS culture. I am also passionate about being a resource for our elementary students and helping them succeed academically, personally, and spiritually.
