This course will provide students with the opportunity to learn keyboarding, computer hardware concepts, computer ethics, and computer software applications. Students will use Glencoe Keyboarding with Computer Applications to learn keyboarding techniques. Students will reinforce their keyboarding skills while learning to use the following applications: Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Publisher. Using these software applications, students will learn the following skills: keyboarding, word processing, database, spreadsheet, graphics, desktop publishing, and presentation. This course will also use technology integration for the following: language arts, business studies, science, math, and visual arts.
