This course will provide students with the opportunity to learn computer hardware concepts, computer ethics, and computer software applications. Students will reinforce their keyboarding skills while learning to use the following applications: Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Publisher, and Photoshop. Using these software applications, students will learn the following skills: keyboarding, word processing, database, spreadsheet, graphics, desktop publishing, and presentation. This course will also use technology integration for the following: language arts, business studies, science, math, and visual arts. Students will also learn to write a research paper in MLA format while using and citing sources.
